Dubai / U.A.E Visa Rules & Regulations

Tourist visa

The tourist visa allows applicant to stay in UAE for 30 days, however, it can be extending for another thirty days with extra charge. Validity from date of issue is 30 days to enter the country.

Service visa

The service visa allows applicant to stay in the UAE for 14 days only and not be extended. Validity from date of issue is 14 days to enter the country.

Prices are different and normally the service visa is higher in cost than the Tourist visa.

The nationalities terms

Do not require an entry visa:

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nationals do not require a visa to enter the UAE.(Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia)

Do not require a prior visa:

Europe & Other Countries:- France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Finland, Spain, Monaco, Vatican, Iceland, Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein, United States of America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia Hong Kong South Korea.

Require a Prior entry visa:

Passport holders of any other nationality not listed above require a prior visa in order to enter the United Arab Emirates for business or tourist visits (either Tourist or Service visa).

  • 1. Africa & Middle East nationalities take 5 TO 07 working days for visa to be approved if all requirements are properly submitted on time frame.
  • 2. Iraqi, Palestinian, Yemenis &Syrian are not permitted to obtain an entry visa even with European residence, employment visas or green card.
  • 3. Tunisians and Egyptians only high level professions can obtain entry visa (General Manager of an establishment / organization & higher, Doctor, Engineer, etc…)
  • 4. Female of the following nationalities must be above 30 years old to obtain an entry visa to Dubai/ UAE. In case less than the age of 30 years they need to be accompanied by their parents or husband (with marriage certificate): Romania, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Lithuania, Armenia, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Ukraine, Moldova, Chic, Belorussia, Slovak, Bulgaria, Poland
  • 5. Female of the following nationalities must be above 25 years old to obtain an entry visa to Dubai / UAE. In case less than the age of 25 years they need to be accompanied by the parents or the husband (with marriage certificate): Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela, and Ecuador.
  • 6. Male below 21 years old are not entitled for entry visa to Dubai/UAE unless being accompanied by the parents.
  • 7. Old People born before 1925, has to be accompanied by one of their relatives (wife, son, daughter…etc.) or any relative that has the same family name.

Do not allow to entry:

  • 1. Israeli nationals are not permitted to enter Dubai or the United Arab Emirates
  • 2. Passengers with Israeli stamp at the passport are not permitted to enter UAE

General Conditions:-

      :: All above visa types are for single entry only.
      :: In case you need to apply for second entry visa the fololwing condition will apply:-
      :: First stay has to be less than 10 days in UAE.
      :: First stay more than 10 days stay in UAE, cannot apply for another visa before One Month from the Exit date.
      :: Immigration Working Days: Sunday to Thursday only. Visa applications cannot be submitted or obtained on Fridays, Saturdays or on national and / or public holidays.
      :: As per UAE immigration entry visa law, any applied visa will be automatically charged regardless if its approved, rejected or on hold.

NB.

      :: Update is generated through the UAE / Dubai immigration department on 25/08/2012
      :: Above procedure applies even if these nationalities have European tourist or residence visas, employment permit or Green card. 

    The above can be modified / changed any time without prior notice by UAE immigration depends on the countries status / situation ( ie. War, political issues / relations, etc…).
