EXCURSIONS » HALF DAY DUBAI
Breakfast buffet. Excursion to the historic part of Dubai. We begin with a panoramic snapshot of photographs at Burj Al Arab, Dubai’s most important landmark in the last 10 years. Then we will also see the Jumeirah Mosque, another very attractive place to take pictures.
Then we will see the impressive "Emirates Towers", one of the tallest buildings in the Middle East and Europe. The tour continues to the historic and romantic Dubai Creek. Later on, we will visit the Dubai Museum, where we see an evolution of what Dubai was and is and how they’ve accomplished this since the discovery of the priceless black gold (oil).
Then we follow our agenda and visit the textile market followed by a trip in abra (water taxi) to get a fresh breeze of air while crossing to the other side of the creek. We will continue towards the exotic aromas of the Spices Souk and the brightness of the million dollar Gold Souk – the largest Gold Souk in the world. There is still time for an optional dinner aboard the Dhow cruise – a traditional boat that was used until the late 70s to transport goods from neighbouring countries to and from the Emirates. Navigating through the Dubai Creek, one can enjoy the spectacular views of the city’s skyline. Accommodation.
